Sacred and Ritual Objects Torah finials, San Daniele del Friuli, 19th c.
The silver globular Rimon consists of a shaft, a body, a head and an apex.
The shaft is cylindrical and supported by a raised round base. One of the shafts bear an inscription. The body is globular and the centre bears an horizontal band decorated with two rows of facing curved lines combined with dots. Three short chains hang from the upper part of the band carrying round grooved bells. The small globular head is mounted over the body. Its upper part is decorated with a row of petals from which hang three round grooved bells. A bud like apex is mounted over the head. The inscription is engraved on the shaft in linear letters and reads vertically:
