Jewish Funerary Art Jewish cemetery in Dubno, Ukraine

According to ESJF European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative, the exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown. But since it appears on Russian topographic maps of 1880s it can be assumed that the cemetery emerged in the 19th century. Later, in 1939 it appears on maps of Wojskowy Instytut Geograficzny (WIG). The oldest tombstone’s date relates to the early 20th century. A significant part of the cemetery was destroyed right after the Second World War. The cemetery has a fence installed in November 2019 by ESJF. There are about 60 gravestones.

The cemetery is located 100 metres West of Dubno Bus Station, along Mlynivska Street.
