Who is Commemorated?

The Six Million Jewish Victims of the Holocaust

Description

This memorial, set at a corner of a plaza in the cemetery, and in line with a large pavilion, takes the form of a corner of a wall, made of white-painted bricks. on the inside of the corner are three niches:

The left-most niche is angled so that there are two planes facing a visitor, the bottom one bears a red granite Magen David, and the upper one bears the Tablets of the Law motif in a white stone.

The right-most niche is also angled so that only two planes face a visitor, though now they are side by side, rather than one above the other. both planes bear three pillar-like plaques of red granite, together commemorating the six million murdered Jews.

The center niche is rectangular, and bears a commemorative plaque.
