Description:
A pit with well-preserved embankment structures is located in the northwestern part of the memorial complex.
The memorial is a twelve-faceted polygon made of granite that surrounds the pit. A commemorative granite block is situated to the right of the polygon as one approaches and bears identical Lithuanian and Russian inscriptions.

Translation: Here Hitler’s occupiers burned unearthed corpses [from the killing sites].
According to an information plaque, the inscription is not quite accurate, since exhumed bodies were burned at special sites next to each pit.
