Description
Four wooden plaques with the names of the Siret Jews who perished in Transnistria are placed in two niches in northwestern wall of the prayer hall. Each pair of plaques is united by a wooden "head" with a Hebrew inscription.
Inscription
לזכרון בהיכל ד'
עבור נשמות הקדושים מעיר סירט
שמתו בטרנסניסטר על ידי הרוצחים הפשיסטן
ד' ינקום דמם
Translation: For memory in God's Temple / for the holy souls from the city of Siret / who died in Transnister by the Fascist murderers. / God revenge their blood.
This is followed by names of perished Jews of Siret written in Hebrew and Romanian.
