1. Sefer Segullat Melakhim ( ;ספר סגלת מלכים The Book of Sacred Magic) by Abraham ben Meshullam Avigdor (fols. 1-56v): begins אמר אברהם בן שלמה בן משולם שלמה אביגדור כאשר ראיתי רבן המתפארים בדרכי חקירות השפע והאלוהות (Steinschneider 1893:325).
2. Sefer ha-Ammud be-Shorshei ha-Refuah ספר העמוד בשרשי הרפואה) ; Al Fusul fi al-Tibb) by Abu’l-Hasan Ali ibn Ridhwan (fols. 58-146v), translated by Kalonymus ben Kalonymus: begins ספר העמוד בשרשי הרפואה חבור המעולה עלי בן רצואן הרופא (Steinschneider 1893:733).
3. Orah Hayyim ( ארח חיים ; Manner of Life) by Moses ben Joshua Narboni (fols. 147-390v): begins ספר נפילת השער (Steinschneider 1893:746). Other copies in Munich: BSB Cod.hebr. 276, belonged to Fugger; BSB Cod.hebr. 243 (fols. 25v-69v, 75-126), belonged to Johann Albrecht Widmanstetter (cf. Hayoun 1984:354).
4. Gerem ha-Ma’alot ( גרם מעלות ; lit. The Staircase) by Joshua ben Joseph Lorki (fols. 390v-502): begins אמר יהושיע בן החכם הפילוסוף הרופא ר' יוסף בן ביניש המכונה אללורקי צודקי תשבה (Steinschneider 1893:762). Another copy in Munich, BSB Cod.hebr. 280 (fols. 175-241), belonged to Johann Albrecht Widmanstetter.
5. Shorashim Kolelim שרשים כוללים בענינים מועילים בסמים המשלשלים ; The Work on Purgatives) by Averroes (fols. 502v-506r) in an anonymous translation: begins שרשי)ם( כוללים בעניינים מועילים בסמים המשלשלים לחכם הגדול אבואליד בן רשד (Steinschneider 1893:676).
The text is written mostly in one column.
Fol. 56v: היום יום ב’ ד’ אדר שני שי"ב לפ"ק פה עיר קדושה וניזיא (Today is Monday, 4th Second Adar, 5312 (29th February 1552), here in the holy city of Venice).

Dark green leather turned brown on wooden boards (340 x 230 mm); gold-tooled with a central roundel on the front and a shield on the back cover within an undulating lozenge in a
large rectangle, decorated with floral motifs at the centre of each side and at the corners. The front roundel is inscribed רפואות , and below it the letters SS SS. The spine, blind-tooled with hatching, has three hidden cords and head and tail bands. On the edges of the front cover are vestiges of four groups of three plaited leather bands, two on the side edge and one each on the upper and lower edges, with corresponding holes for four nails on the edges of the back cover (for preserved bands see Cod.hebr. 301). Each group of three bands terminated in a ring intended to hook over the nails in the opposite cover. The leaves are gilt-edged.
This binding was made for Fugger by the ‘Fugger Binder’ in Venice (Hobson 1999:119-129). Similar bindings in BSB: e.g. Cod.hebr. 7, 8, 26, 31, 35, 45, 50, 56, 57, 60, A hebr. 278 and Cod.gr. 14.
Watermarks of the back cover flyleaf: A star above an anchor within a circle at the centre of the folio (65 mm): similar to Harlfinger 1974-80: Ancre 24-31 (Venice, 1556).

Inside of wooden front cover: an exlibris of the Bavarian Court and State Library (227 x 155 mm) with the arms of Elector Maximilian I of 1638 (Dressler 1972:B3ab), stuck over his earlier exlibris (175 x 135 mm) of 1618, before he became elector in 1623 (Dressler 1972:A3a-f).
On the front cover pastedown, verso, there is a 20th-century oval stamp of the BSB: BIBLIOTHECA REGIA MONACENSIS.
