sub-set tree:
The synagogue was built 1928 for the Higher Crumpsall Hebrew Congregation of Bury Old Road, Salford, in a then-modern Neo-classical style. The synagogue was one of the most magnificent in the Manchester area. In the late 1960's Higher Crumpsall Hebrew Congregation merged with Higher Broughton Synagogue and the building stayed in use. The congregation ended in 2017 and the building now is a part of a local yeshiva.
