Sacred and Ritual Objects Torah scroll, Eastern Europe
An east European Torah scroll from the Lenin State Regional Universal Scientific Library in Nizhnii Novgorod, call number 18/1/38. The height of parchment is 500 mm, height of text columns - 350 mm, 44 lines in a column, not vav-amud, nusah Beit Yosef. Complete. 19th century.
Hebrew letter lamed is carved on the lower right handle, the lower left handle features the inscription "Talmud Torah," on the inside part of the disc.
