Only edition of this eulogy for R. Michael Shimon Mai by his son-in-law R. Mordecai ben Aryeh Leib Levenstam. The title page begins that the eulogy is given with a bitter heart, on the taking of the aron of God, on the passing of his son-in-law, the rav, gaon, the well known zaddik, the pious R. Michael Shimon Mai, who, together with his brother, the gaon R. Joseph Hirsch, was the author of Hiddushei Haghot on the Arba’a Turim, printed in Vienna. The date of his passing was Wednesday, 11 Sivan and he was buried amidst great weeping and mourning on Thursday, 12 Sivan 593 (1833).
