The following description was prepared by William Gross:
Modern design flourished in the new State of Israel in the 50's and 60's of the twentieth century. At times such elegant design was applied to common household items as well, such as this well design clock face. This example was made by Natan Szlagman who was a know skilled designer and producer of such objects. The work on the front of this clock is with silver inset into copper. The inset silver serves both the Hebrew letters for the numbers and the decorative effects in the corners.
