The cylindrical Torah case consists of a body and a crown.

The case opens in the center, forming two halves.

The case is covered with a green cloth.

Silver band, bearing waving thin branch with leaves, covers the edges of the case. A triangle, formed by narrow silver bands, is joined to the middle of each silver band of the opening’s edges. It bears the same decoration.

Four plaques, shaped as leaves and decorated with a floral pattern, are attached to the corners of the case near the opening. The Star of David appears in the center of each half of the case. It is surmounted by a plaque, shaped as the Tables of the Covenant. The Tables of the Covenant are crowned and bear the beginnings of the Ten Commandments.

The small onion-shaped crown consists of a main section, a crest and an apex. The main section is decorated with eight thin vertical silver bands. Four strips of nails encircle the head in such a way that between each two vertical bands there are: two nails at the bottom, three nails in the form of triangle in the center, two nails above them and one nail at the top.

The crest is undulating and consists of a conical lower part and an upper onion-shaped part. The lower part bears alternating decoration of blank and floral vertical bands. The upper part is decorated with horizontal floral bands.

The small globular apex surmounts the case.

Two bars for finials are attached to both sides of the crown.

A cloth, bearing diagonal strips, covers the inner surface of the case. The interior surface of the crown bears two plaques, following its shape. A dedicatory inscription, written in square letters, appears on each plaque. On the right plaque it reads:

"וזאת/ התורה/ אשר שם משה/ לפני בני ישראל (דברים ד מד): ס"ת זה/ הוקדש בהשתדלות יעקב המכונה/ בכור הי"ו לעלוי נשמת מרת אמו/ שמחה ב' ריינה נע "

“And this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel (Deut.4:44): This Torah scroll was dedicated with the efforts of Jacob (Yacov) who called the first-born, may the Lord sustain and protect him, for the exaltation of the soul of Mrs. Simha B. Raina, his mother, may she rest in Eden.”

On the left plaque it reads:

"לזכרון/ בהיכלה/ "

“ For the memory in her tent ?”

Silver plaques with dedicatory inscription are attached on the inner surface of the crest. On the right side it reads:

"כתר/ המשתדל/ שבתי פיסן/ הי''ו/ ובהשתדלות/ הגבאים הי''ו ה''ה/ מבכור שלמה/ קמחי היו"

“Crown ???, may the Lord sustain and protect him, and with the efforts of the householders, may the Lord sustain and protect them, the Great Rabbi ??? Shlomo Kamhi, may the Lord sustain and protect him.”

On the left side it reads:

"תורה/ המשתדל/ יעקב קאלדירון/ היו/ ומ'' מרדכי/ אלעלוף הי''ו/ ומבכור משה/ קמחי הי''ו/ ביום כא לח' תשרי/ ש'' תרפ''ד"

“Torah with the efforts of Jacob (Yakov) Kaldiron, may the Lord sustain and protect him, and Mullah Mordechai Elaluf, may the Lord sustain and protect him, the Great Rabbi Moshe Kamhi, may the Lord sustain and protect him on day 21 of month Tishrey, year (5)684=1.10.1923”

The case is closed in its front by one hook.
