  Amulet, Jerusalem, circa 1900

© Gross Family Collection, Photographer: Bar Hama, Ardon, -

The following description was prepared by William Gross:

A highly unusual cast lead amulet that is quite unlike others that are generally seen. It is possibly an almost unique specimen. It is strikingly similar to the silver amulet in the Gross Family Collection, 027.025.045 that would appear to be from Galicia. This may also be from that area, although cast lead amulets have not be known to be fashioned there.

Inscription:  "Heh"
