The body is encircled by four bands: one on its upper and lower borders and two on the center. The bands divide the decoration of the body into registers.

The cylindrical Torah case consists of a body and a crown covered with decorated silver sheets.

The case opens in the center, forming two halves. It is closed in its front by two hook clasps.

The upper border of the body is surmounted by a vertical lily-like crenellation alternating with red beads.

The body is encircled by four bands: one on its upper and lower borders and two on the center. The bands divide the decoration of the body into registers. Each register comprises vertical rectangles, bearing a vase with flowers inside.

A dedicatory inscription, engraved in square-filled letters, appears on the upper band. It reads:

"תיק זה וספר תורה שבו עשה אותו השקט (???) עזרא אליהו נוריאל על נשמת בתו פרחה תנצבה (תהי נשמתה צרורה בצרור החיים)"

Translation: This case and Torah scroll inside it was made by ??? Ezra Elijah Nuriel (Ezra Elijahu Nuriel) for the soul of his daughter Freha, may her soul be bound up in the bond of life.”

The crown consists of the main section, a crest, and an apex. The onion-shaped main section is decorated with open flowers appearing on thin and izognutom steble. The undulating crest consists of a cut-cone lower part separated from the onion-shaped upper part by a compressed globe ring. Ten rings with chains carrying bells (?) are attached to the upper part. The crest is decorated with alternating floral and blank, vertical bands.

A bud-shaped apex is mounted over the crest.

Two bars for finials are attached to both sides of the crown.

The inner face of the body is covered with a square pattern.

The interior surface of the crown bears paper dedicatory plaques, following the shape of the main section. An inscription is written on each plaque in square-filled letters, appearing in four lines on the right side and in six lines on the left one. On the right plaque it reads:

" הספר תורה הזה/

לעילוי נשמת החייל אהרון מרדכי ויינברגר/

שנפל בהגנת המולדת ושחרור הארץ/

בשנת תש'ח תנצבה"

Translation: This case and Torah scroll inside it are for the exaltation of the soul of the soldier Aaron Mordehai Weinberger who fell at the defense of his Motherland and at the delivery of Israel in the year 1948, may his soul be bound up in the bond of life.

On the left plaque it reads:

"וזאת לעדות/

כי ספר תורה זה שנתרם לעילוי נשמת/

האישה פרחה בת ר' (רב) עזרא אליהו נוריאל/

תוקן ושופץ ע''י (על ידי) הסופרים של משרד הדתות/

בהשתתפותו ובעזרתו של הנדיבה של חיים/

בן אליהו אביקסיס הי'ו (ה' יחיהו וישמרהו)"

Translation: And this is for testimony that this Torah scroll, that is donated for the exaltation of the soul of the woman Pirhah the daughter of the Rabbi Ezra Elijah Nuriel, was repaired and renovated by the writers of the Ministry of religion with the participation and the large help of Haim, the son of Elijah Abiksis, may the Lord sustain and protect him.
