The Torah pointer comprises an upper rectangular handle surmounting a pointed leaf-shaped bar, which tapers towards a pointer formed as a clenched hand with a straight index finger.

The handle consists of several rhomboid units separated by rectangular grooved rings. A flexible oval flat ring surmounts the handle.

The flat bar is shaped as an elongated pointed leaf. It is decorated with a widening branch with flowers.

The back side is inscribed with a dedication, written in square linear letters and reads towards the handle (fig. 1):

"בקהריכה אשת שמואל קושן."

“(Donated by) Bekahaikhah, the wife of Samuel Kushan."
