  Sacred and Ritual Torah case wrapper, Tunisia
The rectangular, bordeaux-coloured, Torah case wrapper is divided into a central, vertical rectangle flanked by two squares. All sections are framed with strips bearing hands (hamsa), crescent (illal) and star motifs.
The central section bears a dedicatory inscription in square letters, it reads:
"נדבת/ בני המנוח/ הרי (הרב) מכלוף/ חדאד/ חזקיה הע"י (ה' עמהם יחיו) למנוחת מר/ אביהם הנ"זנו?] (הנזכר) ואביו אהרן/ ואשתו נ"ע (נוחם עדן) לו'(לוויי?) אמם/ מסיעדה"
Translation: The donation of/ the sons of the reposed/ Rabbi Machluf/ Hadad/Hizkiya May the Lord be with them and grant them life (?)/ for the repose of/ their father (mentioned earlier?)/ and his father Aharon/ and his wife may they rest in Eden/for the long life of their mother/ Masiada
The side panels are decorated identically with four rhombuses at their four comers. Each rhombus contains a floral motif and their vertexes extend towards the centre with scrolled plants. A scrolled rhombus enclosed in a circle is at the centre. Floral and geometric motifs such as the Star of David and flowers are set facing between the rhombuses.
