Sacred and Ritual Objects Torah pointer
The silver torah pointer consists of a bar and a pointer. ## The upper arm is six faceted and tapering. The facets bears alternatively geometric pattern and dedicatory inscription. It is surmounted by a globular upper joint. ## Between the upper arm and the forearm is a six faceted middle joint. It is decorated with geometric pattern. The forearm is six faceted and tapering towards the pointer. It bears stone sets. the stones sre green, red, blue and orange. The forearm terminates with a clenched hand with a crooked index finger. The dedicatory inscriptions are engraved in linear letters, and read towards the forearm, and reads:
לע"ן )לעילוי נשמת( א"א הר" רג אהרן בן טוטי נפ" )נפטר( ב" סיון תרע'ח
"In the memory of the soul of the great Rabbi Aharon son of Tuti, who died on the 2nd of Sivan (5)678=1910"
ולע"ן )לעילוי נשמת( מ' אמי כאנוס ב )בת( יצחק כ"ץ נפ"ט י אדר תר"נט ## תנצ"בה
"In the memory of the soul of Mrs my mother Hanus daughter of Isaac Katz who passed away on 10th of Adar (5)659=1899 ## may his soul be bound up in the bond of life (int.)
" קלה מנדבת בנימין בן אהרון כ"ץ הי"ו )ה' יחיהו וישמרהו( ש' תרפז
"Dedicated to the Lord from the donation of Benjamin son of aharon Katz, may the Lord sustain and protct him (int.), the year (5)687=1927"
