Sacred and Ritual Objects Torah finials
The silver rimon consists of a shaft, a body a head and an apex.
The shaft is tapering, cylindrical. On both is a dedicatory inscription. The body consists of a concave body base and a six faceted main part. The body base bears geometic pattern. The main part's facets are decorated with openwork floral motifs which surrounds an orifice. In the middle is a bell. Four rings with bells are applied to the bottom of the main part.
The head consists of a concave neck, a main part which consists of outwards folded outwards folded petals and a conical upper part. An apex in the shape of a flat Star of David is mounted over the head, and bears an inscription, and reads: ציון "Zion"
The dedicatory inscription is engraved in linear letters, and reads towards the body, and reads:
