The purple parokhet is made of velvet .## It consists of a main cloth and a dedicatory inscription panel. The rectangular main cloth is embroidered. It has a central floral design and is surrounded by a geometric frame. Inside the geometric floral motifs, at the four corners face the center.## The rectangular dedicatory inscription is located in the upper part of the main coth. Its upper corners are decorated with floral pattern. The dedicatory inscription is embroidered in full letters in six lines and reads: קל"ה )קודש לה'( ## פרוכת זו הקדישה מ' סולטנה ת'י לע"ינ )לעילוי נשמת( בעלה ## יעקב ובנה משה גוזלן נ"ע )נוחם עדן( ששניהם נהרגו! ## על קדוש השם האב בן מ'ה שנה והבן בן ט'י## שנה ביום המאורעות בעי"הק )בעיר הקודש( חברון ת"ו )תבנה ותכונן( ח'י לח' )לחודש( מנ"א )מנחם אב( הת"רפט' ת'נ'צ'ב'ה' )תהי נשמתו צרורה בצרור החיים( "Dedicated to the Lord (int.)## this parokhet has been donated by Mrs. Sultana, may she live a long life (int.), for the exaltation of the soul of (int.) her husband## Jacob and her son Moses Goslan, may they rest in Eden who both were killed! ## Sanctification of the Holy Name, the father 45 years old and the son 19 years old ## on day of the progroms in the holy city Hebron, may it be built and established 18th in Av 5689=(24.08.1929), may their souls be bound up in the bond of life."
