Sacred and Ritual Objects Torah Ark curtain
The rectangular red Torah ark curtain is adorned with a central dedicatory inscription, embroidered in square filled letters, and reads:
"למנוחת/ המנוח רצ"ו (רודף צדקה וחסד; משלי כא:כא) הר' (הרב) רפאל נחום ת.נ.צ.ב.ה (תהא נשמתו צרורה בצרור החיים)/ טראבלס גרב (ג'רבה)/ יע"א (יכוננה עליון אמן)."
"(Dedicated) for the repose of the late Raphael Nahum 'he that followeth after righteousness and mercy' (Prov. 21:21), may his soul be bound in the bond of life. (Donated to the) Trabels(iya) (Synagogue in) Djerba, may the Sublime establish it, amen."
A fringed strip is attached to its bottom edge.
