Jewish prisoners of the Kopyl' ghetto, killed on July 22, 1942.

Description

The monument is a slab, standing on a massive granite base. Both the slab and its base bear the same irregular shape. 

On the monument, there is an inscription in the Belarusian language.

22 ліпеня 1942 года
закатаваны ўсе вязні яўрэйскага
гета - палавіна жыхароў горада.
Яўрэі тут мірна жылі пяць стагоддзяў.
Вечная памяць ахвярам нацызму!
Ад грамадзян Копыля 

Translation: On July 22, 1942 / were tortured all the prisoners of the Jewish / ghetto - half the population of the town. / Jews lived here peacefully for five centuries. / Eternal memory to the victims of Nazism! / From the residents of Kopyl'.
