{"648":"Born 11.06.1884, Gleiwitz, Germany (now Gliwice, Poland)Died 10.05.1956, Tel Aviv, IsraelHaller studied in the \"Building and Construction\" School in Dresden, Architectural School in Zittau, Architectural faculty of the Technical University of Darmstadt (1909-1910). In 1910-11 he worked in Breslau (Wroclaw) and Frankfurt am Main. In 1911-1933 he lived and worked in Leipzig. In 1933 Haller emigrated to Palestine, lived and worked in Tel Aviv.Being in Leipzig, Haller worked both for Jewish communities and private Jewish and Christian customers. In Germany he worked in Neoclassicism and Expressionism styles, in Israel \u2013 in \"International Style.\"His most important public buildings are the Cemetery Chapel in the Jewish Cemetery on Delitzscher Stra\u00dfe in Leipzig (project 1922-1927, built in 1927-28) and the Cemetery Chapel in Halle an der Saale (1929).
