Sacred and Ritual Objects Torah shield
The silver Torah shield is rectangular and terminated with a semi circular arch. It consists of a plate. A rectangular plaque is located in the center it bears a dedicatory inscription written in square filled letters. It reads:
זאת נדב האלוף הרר [הרב רבי] / משה עבור בנו הילד / יצחק השם יגדלהו / לתורה ולחופה ולמעשי' [ולמעשים] / טובים
"This was donated by the prominent R. Moshe, for his son the child Isaac, the Lord will raise him to Torah, Hupa and to good deeds".
The plaque is surmounted by a crown. A rectangular plaque bearing an inscription is located in the shields' upper corners. The square filled letters read from right to left.

"Torah crown"
A flower surmounts the crown, its symmetrical petals fill the arch in a scroll design. A foliate scroll motif surrounds the lower half of the shield. The Torah shield is framed by a scalloped band.
