  Zaltsman, Portrait of I.Pereselenkova

© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Radovan, Zev, 07.1995
The picture represents a group of five people - three men and two women, placed close to each other on the foreground. The heads and figures of three men and one woman are shown on one level, while the figure of the second woman is shown in the lower row on the foreground as though she is sitting. This young woman is depicted down to her shoulders. She has a dark smooth hair with a short fringe on the forehead and dark eyes looking thoughtfully downwards. She is dressed in blue and red. A figure of a blond woman in red with naked hands and shoulders (Irina(?) Pereselenkova) is depicted above her. A man in a tall hat, with coarse features stands frontally to the left of the latter. With his right hand he grasps a collar of his brown coat. To the left and behind him there is a man in a turban with a sad smile and lowered eyes facing left. The last man ina triangular hat stands to the right and behind of the blond woman. He is dressed in dark brown and stands frontally with his right hand pressed to his breast.
