Fine metalwork was an almost exclusive Jewish trade in Morocco. There are a wide variety of forms of Rimmonim from Morocco, it seems as if each community in Morocco had its own form. Such Rimmonim were more common in the area of the Atlas Mountains and the south, although they were used in other areas as well for the Rimmonim on weekdays. These types of Rimmonim come in several different varieties, although the general form is the same. They appear in brass as well as in silver.
