  Candlesticks (Sabbath)

The silver candlestick consists of a base, a shaft and a candle socket. ##The round raised base stands on four legs topped by a decoration of vines leaves and grapes. The lower border is decorated with symmetrical branches. The undulating shaft is composed of a base surmounted by a cylindrical tapering upper part. The convex base is decorated with a band of vine leaves and a row of vertical grooves surmounted by a compressed circular floral band delimited by concave smoothed parts. The upper part is divided into vertical units by grooved topped by a ionic capital. Each unit bears stylised palmette at the bottom and garlands hanging inbetween the columns at the top. A compressed circular floral band is mounted over the shaft supports a vase-shaped candle socket with a folded rim. It is decorated with a circumscribed vegetal foliate motifs, and a row of petals on its rim.
