Ancient Jewish Art Ossuary
The ossuary has four legs. Its front side is decorated in the middle with a voluted harp-shape, out of which rises an elaborate lily topped by a smaller lily. This is surrounded by two stylized ivy branches and encircled by a zigzag band.
The central motif is flankeds by two ivy branches and two fluted columns atop stepped ashlar pedestals. Above the column is a square capital containing concentric circles and small circles in the corners. Concentric circles flank the
capitals and the harp-shape and are set beneath the ivy branches. The front is framed at top and bottom by a zigzag band.
