Sacred and Ritual Objects Torah finials, 20th century
The silver rimon consists of a shaft, a body, a head and an apex. The shaft cylindrical shaft is encircled by a ring at its bottom. The shaft is decorated by a central wide band composed by a net of lozanges with a flower in the middle. Minor floral bands framed it. The shaft is surmounted by a globular compressed capital. The body has a globular shape. It is decorated by horizontal bands simmetrically setting. The central band bears dedicatory inscription engraved in square outline letters filled by dots. The inscriptions are different at each finial and they reads:

!למנוחת נפש רבי בן אברהם יזדי קודש לבית הכנסת חדש יזדים שבירושלים: למנוחת נפש שמעון בן אלעזר יזדו!

The others bands are composed by a row of cartouches in high relief intercalated with cartouches in low relief. Two minor bands composed by a row of lozanges and a band of triangles are set at the lower and upper part of the body. The hyperboloid head is mounted over a spheroid collar and is surmounted by a pointed cap decorated by petals radiating from the apex. Each petal bears a flower. Five orifices in a central circlet hanging two different types of chains at each finial. The chains carryng bells and jingles of different sizes.
