The depiction of the "By the Rivers of Babylon" (Ps. 137:1-2) appears on the western wall of the prayer hall, under the windows of the women's section. In the center of the scene, a river and a row of trees with musical insctuments is depicted. A contemoprary European city is depicted in the right side of the picture, while a stepped tower in the left side referrs to Babylon and its famous tower. The verses from PSalms are inscribed in the upper border of the picture.
