1. Commentary on Sefer Yezirah (פירוש ספר יצירה; Commentary on the Book of Creation) (fols. 1'-69):
begins בשלשים ושתים נתיבות פליאות ... בית בשלשים כמו בית של בראשית. In printed editions it was attributed to
Abraham ben David Posquières (הראב"ד), but according to Scholem (Scholem 1927/28:286-289) the
true author is Joseph ben Solomon Ashkenazi. Other copies in Munich: BSB Cod.hebr. 115
(fols. 10-68v); BSB Cod.hebr. 92 (fragment; fols. 16v-18). 1st ed. Mantua 1562.
2. Otiyyot de-Rabbi Akiva (אותיות דרבי עקיבא; Letters of Rabbi Akiva) (fols. 70-104): begins אמר ר’ עקיבא אילו
עשרים ושתים אותיות שבהן נתנה כל התורה לשבטי ישורון. Includes two versions, firstly version B (fols. 70-79)
and then version A (fols. 79v-104) (cf. Eisenstein 1915:408-431).
3. Sefer Ha-Mishkal (ספר המשקל; lit. The Book of Scale) by Moses ben Shem Tov de Leon (fols. 104-148v):
begins בראותי ידיד נפשי תאות נפשך להכנס בסוד נפלאות. It includes secrets of zizzit and tefillin from Joseph
Gikatilla's שער חלק יסוד דת קיום האמונה (fols. 126v-148v) as in its printed edition Basel 1608. Other copies
in Munich: BSB Cod.hebr. 56 (fols. 157v-180v) from Fugger's Venetian group; BSB Cod.hebr. 341
(fols. 200-217v) which belonged to Domenico Grimani and later to Johann Albrecht Widmanstetter;
BSB Cod.hebr. 129 belonged to Johann Albrecht Widmanstetter.
4. Hekhalot Rabbati and Zutarti (היכלות רבתי וזוטרתי; lit. Large and Small Palaces) (fols. 149-165): begins
אמר רבי ישמעאל מה אילו השירות שהיה אומר (Schäfer 1981:IX; Schäfer 1988:17; Gottlieb 1976:100).
Another copy in Munich: BSB Cod.hebr. 40 (fols. 79-138v) from Fugger's Venetian group.
5. Ma'aseh Bereshit (מעשה בראשית; The Procedure of Creation) (fols. 165-179v): begins בראשית ברא אלהים

Interpolator 1** (Interpolator A*): fol. 171v (lines 18: ולמעלה ...-30). The text was proofread by Yaakov for his section and by the corrector of Fugger's group (only for the section by Yaakov, e.g. fol. 10v). * The letters A, B, etc. denote the order of copying by the main scribes and interpolators in this manuscript. ** Running numbers (Scribe 1, 2, etc.) denote the anonymous main scribes and interpolators throughout the entire group of Fugger’s Venetian manuscripts. The scribes identified by name are not numbered.

Binding
Green leather turned brown on wooden boards (350 x 236 mm); gold-tooled similarly on front and back with a central roundel within an undulating lozenge in a large rectangle, decorated with floral motifs at the centre of each side and at the corners. As a result of an error the binding is upside-down and opens from the back. The front roundel is inscribed CABALA upside-down with the letter G below. The back roundel is inscribed קבלה upside-down and the letter ז below. The spine, blind-tooled with hatching, has four hidden cords and head and tail bands. On the edges of the back cover are vestiges of four groups of three plaited leather bands, two groups on the side edge and one each on the upper and lower edges, with corresponding holes for four nails on the edges of the front cover (for preserved bands see Cod.hebr. 301). Each group of three bands terminated in a ring intended to hook over the nails on the opposite cover. The leaves are gilt-edged.
This binding was made for Fugger by Andrea di Lorenzo inVenice(Hobson 1999:111-112). Similar bindings in BSB: Cod.hebr. 40, 11, 17, 24, 52, 54 and e.g. BSB Cod.gr. 21, 39.
