The photograph of the plaque was published in Żydzi w Polsce odrodzonej: Działalność społeczna, gospodarcza, oświatowa i kulturalna, Ignacy Schiper,  Arje Tartakower and Aleksander Hafftka eds., vol. 2 (Warsaw, 1932), p. 306, as an example of the Polish eagle used by Jews in decoration of thier synagogues. 

The caption says: "Modlitwa Hebrajska, obramiona orlempolskim i symbolami zodjaku. Pochodzi z 1815 [!] r. i nalezala do boznicy w Makarowie. Ze zbiorow p. Salomona Muntza w Warszawie" (Hebrew prayer, decorated by the Polish eagle and zodiac symbols. Originates from 1815 [!] and belonged to the synagogue in Makow. From the collection of Mr. Salomon Muntz in Warsaw."
