© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Radovan, Zev, 10.6.1992

The rectangular off white velvet mantle is composed of two pieces of cloth cloaks attached at the upper border, leaving two openings for the Torah scroll rods. The cloth is decorated with a centralized Star of David surmounted by an inscription written in filled square letters: "האחיות פראנקע" "The Frank Sisters". The bottom part is decorated by two lions which reveal their tongue and flank a vase decorated with geometrical motives. The mantle's back depicts a deer sitting under two trees. At the lower part the date is embroided and reads: "תרסה" which stand for the date 1905.
