The tas consists of a plate and a chain. The plate is in the shape of a cartouche. It is decorated with two rampant lions looking forwards. They support the five and five Tables of the Covenant inscribed with the first words of the Decalogue. The lions stand on foliate pattern. Above the Tables of the Covenant is a protuded crown. The frame for the calendar tablet is rectangular and set in the lower section. The plate is framed by scrolls and foliate pattern. Between the Tables of the Covenant and the calendar tablet's frame is a dedicatory inscription. The plate is hung by a chain which is inserted into rings which are attached to the back of the plate. The dedicatory inscription is engraved in outline letters, and reads:
שייך לר משה פלעש "Belongs to rabi Moses Fleisch"
