The Torah^mantle is made of white velvet. The rectangular cloth cloak is made of two parts and is attached at the upper border, leaving two openings for Torah Scroll rods. It opens in its lower part on both sides. The cloth bears a dedicatory inscription and an emroidery decoration of a branch in the lower border, and a Torah^crown~ flanked by an inscription in the upper part of the cloth: כ' % ת' "Crown of Torah (int.)" The dedicatory inscription is embroidered in outline letters and reads:

ז"נ )זאת נידב( ר' שמעון##לכבוד אבותיו שיח' )שיחיו(##ר' יצחק הכהן##ע"ז )עם זוגתו( רחל רבקה##בלאקנער##ביום מלאות לו ##חמשה ושבעים שנה##ת'ר'פ'ט' לפק

"This was donated (int.) by R. Simon##in the honor of his fathers, may they live (int.)##R. Isaac Hacohen##with his wife (int.) Rachel Rebeccahon Blockner his seventy five birthday##(5)689=(1928)"

The back of the cloth bears a dedicatory inscription in Hungarian which is embroidered in outline letters and reads:

Balazs Blockner Pal adomanya szuleinek##tisztelete're##e'desatyja 75-ik##szulete'snapja'nak##megunneple'se alkalma'bo'l##1928

"This was donated by Balazs Blockner Pal to his parents in the honour of the 75th anniversary of his father, 1928 "
