The tas is made of silver and consists of a plate, a crest and a suspension chain.

The plate is rectangular. The borders are decorated with foliate pattern, and on those is a dedicatory inscription on the bottom. The plate is decorated by the five and five Tables of the Covenant inscribed with the first words of the Decalogue. They are supported by two rampant lions looking backwards. Next to them are cylindrical columns rising over rectangular grooved pedestals.The column's rounded capitals are surmounted by flower baskets. On the top is a diadem. The base is decorated with geometrical pattern and above is a flower The background is decorated by lattice pattern. ##A crest in the shape of a flower is atttached to the plate. The frame for the calendar tablet is rectangular and bears a flower garland.It is set in the lower part of the frame. The plate is hung by a chain which is inserted through three rings which are attached to the back of the plate. The dedicatory inscription is graved in linear letters ,and reads:

ז"נ) זאת נידב( ר" אברהם דוב נ"י ) נרו יאיר( בן ישראל יהודה ז"ל העגעדוש וזוג') זוגתו( מ" )מרת( מירל תחי" % לזכרון הוריהם ולשמחת הצלתם תש"ז לפ"ק

"This was donated by rabbi(int.) Abraham David, may his light shine(int.),son of Israel Judah of blessed memory(int.), and his wife madam Mirel % in the memory of their parents and to their rejoice of their rescue (5)707 (1947)"
