The tas is made of gilded silver. The rectangular plate has an arched top, and a crown above it.

The plate, framed by a floral pattern, is decorated with two tappering cylindrical columns rising over rectangular pedestals. The columnns' foliate capitals are surmounted by a protuded flower garland. The columns are flanked by foliate scrolls. In the middle of the plate are the Tablets of the Covenant which are encircled by a protuded flower pattern. On the top of the plate is a sun like form, in which is a triangle bearing an eye. Two rings are soldered to the upper corners of the plate. At the bottom there are two wholes for calendar tablets, which are missing.
