According to ESJF European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative, the exact period of the cemetery’s establishment is unknown, but according to the dates on the preserved gravestones, it can be assumed that the cemetery emerged in the early 19th century. It first appears on a cadastral map of 1865. The cemetery is surrounded by an old concrete fence of 1.8 metres height. There are 85 gravestones.
