The picture represents a diagonal map of Israel. Lebanon and Hermon mount in the north are represented by brown stains in the upper right corner. The Dead Sea is represented in the lower left corner. The coast, Negev and Arava are yellow, and the mountains (Galillee, Judea, Edom and some in the Negev) are brown. Sharon, Israel and Jordan vallies are green and both lakes are blue. Trans-Jordan is painted largely in yellow with a few reddish stains. In the lower right corner is a black triangle within a white upper angle, representing a tent. The Mediterranean Sea is black and at its upper left is a yellow Star of David suggesting the yellow star Jews wore during the Holocaust.
