© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Laor, Liora, 03.1995

Psalm 18 is written in cursive script in a cohesive paragraph in the upper central part of the brownish paper resembling an ancient Torah scroll. The paragraph consists of 24 densely packed lines uneven in length. The paragraph declines slightly towards the end. The letters are small (5 mm per letter) but clearly legible. The first line consists of the heading (the opening words of the psalm: "To the Chief Musician, the servant of the Lord" (Psalm 18:1)/"למנצח לעבד יהוה"
