The synagogue's restoration is a key point of the Foundation for the Preservation of Jewish Heritage in Poland.

The synagogue was built as a part of Renaissance ideal city, which ihas been placed on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The synagogue's interior design inaugurated the type of hall synagogues spanned with clositer vaults with corner squinches.
