Jewish Funerary Art Two Fragments of a Tombstone in Maribor, Slovenia, 14th-15th century
Two fragments of - supposedly - a granite tombstone were found near the synagogue in Maribor.
The larger fragment is a rectangular piece of black granite, with parts of three rows of Hebrew epitaph:
[... ב]ני קורח לא נת[...]
[...]מירת: אין או[...]
[...] יוענים ושר[ים...]
The smaller fragment is an almost square of black granite, with first Hebrew words of two rows of epitaph:

לפני
The two preserved fragments do not enable to reconstruct the epitaph.
