The whole front page of a "Ha'aretz" newspaper is painted except the title and the date in the upper right corner: הארץ יום ב', ד' באב תשל"ח. There is also a small addition on the lower right within a square: מודעות משפחתיות ראה ע' 6 מודעות "הלוח הכפול" ראה עמ' 6, 7. The title is surrounded by a light blue background representing sky. Below the title line the map Israel begins: the sea is depicted using a dark blue, Mt. Hermon is represented as a white point below the upper line. Below Mt. Hermon, are the Galilee mountains, painted with brown expressive stains. The Western Galilee is painted in orange and the coast is yellow. Judea and Sameria are painted using a reddish-brown color, and the inner valleys are depicted using green and orange. The Sea of Galilee, Jordan river, and the Dead Sea are painted in the same light blue with yellow and orange around them. Below this and close to the lower left corner of the work the Dead Sea Edom mountains and the Arava are depicted in pink and red. The Negev is painted in orange and its mountains in Brown. The '67 border is marked with a green line, beyond which is the Sinai desert, represented as a large white-yellowish area.
