Modern Jewish Art
  Sgan-Cohen, Unnatural Bird Migrator

© Center for Jewish Art, Photographer: Laor, Liora, 03.1995

The picture represents a pink face in profile turning leftwards. The figure has a beak with a beard below it and long hair. The figure's black triangular hat has an inscription in Hebrew cursive letters on it: דרור לציפור/freedom for the bird. On the upper right framed picture corner in black Hebrew cursive letters on a yellow background the following is written: קן לציפור/nest for the bird. On the upper left corner is written in Hebrew black, cursive letters: כן לציפור/yes for the bird. A yellow line is drawn along the left side of the hat. The figure has a praying shawl on its left shoulder (wither this or perhaps a striped shirt?), and a black cloth on its right shoulder. Below is written in Latin block black letters with a pen: UN NATURAL BIRD MIGRATOR
