Description
This monument is located at the killing site near the stadium in Dolyna. It is a large stone stele with a rough surface which sits atop a concrete base. This base consists of two parts: The smaller, beveled segment holds the stele, beneath which is a larger segment with a flat top and rough sides. The sides of the base are colored white. The monument is surrounded by a black metal fence.
A metal plaque bolted to the stone bears an inscription in Ukrainian and a plant branch. The text does not specify the ethnicity of the victims.

німецькі фашисти
розстріляли групу
громадян
міста Долини.
Translation: At this place / in 1943 year / German fascists / shot a group / of citizens / of the city of Dolyna.

According to the Tsal Kaplun Foundation, there were 2,250 Jews in Dolyna in 1939. The German Army occupied the town in July 1941. On November 1, 1942, nazis killed 45 Jews at this place. They were buried in the Jewish cemetery in Dolyna.
According to Liubov Solovka, this Monument was erected by the Soviet authority in 1979.
