The rectangular brown Parokhet consists of a brown main cloth enclosing a rectangular green core set vertically at the top half of the cloth, and framed by a green strip.
The core bears a Hebrew dedicatory inscription written in three stages: the first following the death of the donators father, the second after the donator has passed away, and the third was written following her brother's death. It is written in square filled letters arranged in six lines. The Star of David surmounts the inscription. It reads:
"(1) קדש לה'/הפרוכת הזאת היקדשה הג' (הגברת) בייה אשכנזי תחי" (תחיה)/לע"נ (לעילוי נשמת) אביה נחום מזרחי בן אסתר נלב"ע (נאסף לבית עולמו) כ"ב כסליו/ולע"נ (לעילוי נשמת) רפאל מזרחי בן לאה נלב"ע (נאסף לבית עולמו) כ"ח שבט תשי"ד/(2) בייה בת לאה נפ" (נפטרה) ת'נ'צ'ב'ה (תהיה נשמתה צרורה בצרור החיים) י"ח אלול תשי"ח/(3) ולע"נ (לעילוי נשמת) יצחק מזרחי בן לאה נ"ע (נוחו עדן) ט"ו טבת תשכ"ב".
(1) Dedication to the Lord, This parochet was dedicated by Mrs.Biya Ashkenazi may she live, for the redemption of the soul of her father Nahum Mizrachi son of Esther (Ester) passed away 22nd of Kislev ( and for the redemption of the soul of Rafael Mizrachi son of Lea passed away 28th Shevat (5)314 (1.2.1954),(2) Biya daughter of Lea passed away may her soul be bound up in the bond of life, 18th of Elul (5)318 (3.9.1958), (3) for the redemption of the soul of Isaac Mizrachi son of Lea (may she) rest in Eden, 15th of Tevet (5)322 (22.12.1961).
A branch with leaves and flowers is set vertically at the center of the inscription.
