  Synagogue in Niebylec, Poland

© Vladimir Levin, Photographer: Levin, Vladimir, 2018

The synagogue in the small town of Niebylec is situated on the north side of the market square. It was constructed in accordance to a rectangular ground plan in the 19th century. The main hall was originally located in the eastern part of the building, while the western side housed the women's section. During renovations in 1977 the main hall was divided into two floors by the addition of a new ceiling. The synagogue building itself was transformed into a public library.
