Fol. 3v:
Top, right margin: behind a table a woman peeling fruit, while next to her a man crushing it with a pestle in a mortar.
Inscribed:
חרוסת זכר לטיט עושים/ אגוזים תפוחים אגסים
“One prepares the haroset in memory of the mortar (from) nuts, apples and pears.”
Middle, right margin: three matzot covered with a napkin and maror in a bowl on the table.
Inscribed:
על השלחן מוטלין השלש מצות והטיבולין
“On the table are laid the three matzot and the dips.”
Lower margin: On the right a man filling a jug from a barrel.
On the left a servant carrying jugs over his shoulders and in his hands to the table represented on fol. 4.
Inscribed near the barrels:
מן החבית מוציא יין/ ותדיר בקנקן אין
“He takes wine from the barrel and (yet) the bottle is always empty.”
Near the servant:
היין על שכמו/ להשקות בני עמו
“(He carries) the wine on his shoulders to provide drink for his people.”
