The crown's inner face is covered with purple velvet. A triangle paper bearing a dedicatory inscription is inserted behind a glass. The inscription is surrounded by a wavy frame, and flowers above it. The inscription is written in black square letters.##On the right it reads: וזאת##התורה החמו' )החתומה מטה(##שנכתבה##מצואת ומהוצאות##האשה הכ' )הכבודה( מבת )מנשים באהל תבורך(##בלור המכ' )המכונה( ברוריא##אשת מרדכי ד' ישראלוף ע"י השתדלות אביה מו'##יצחק ברוך בן מו' שלמה נ"ע "And this Torah is finished##that was written## by the will and the expenses of##the honourable woman, blessed shall she be above women in the tent (based on Juds. 5:24) ##Blor, known as Bruriah wife of Mordecai David Israelof##with the efforts of her father Mullah (itn.)##Isaac Barukh son of Mullah Solomon may he rest in Eden (int.)" ##On the left it reads: והרשות##ביד מו' יצחק##הנז' )הנזכר( להוליך##הס"ת ממקום##למקום כדי##שיהיה לה##לזכר עולם א' )אמן( חו' סיון ש' תרס"ט##פעה"ק ירושלם ת"ו "And the permission##in the hand of the aforementioned Mullah Isaac##to take##the Torah from one place##to another place for##her eternal memory, amen##the month of Sivan, the year (5)669=(1969) here, the holy city (int.) of Jerusalem, may it be built and established (int.)"
