Fol. 39v: At the top of the initial word panel מה אשיב לי "What [can I render unto the Lord]", is a pen-drawn human head bearing an expression of contempt, possibly because of the words that immediately precede it, כל האדם כוזב "All men are liars". The initial word in gold is in a panel partly painted blue. A foliate scroll surrounding the outer margin issues from the tail and mouth of a pen-drawn winged dragon.
