His feet are resting on two gold letters on a blue and pink background. His hands, face, and the bench are not coloured. A foliate scroll, with an uncoloured two-headed grotesque extends along the outer margin.
In the lower margin, under the initial word pane [ושאינו [יודע לשאול "who does not [know how to ask]", is a youth wearing a long robe sitting on a foliate scroll. His hands, which are crossed over his chest, and his face are not coloured. The scroll protrudes from the mouth of a double-headed hybrid attached to the upper initial word panel.
