Hallmark
There are two different hallmarks located in on the front side of the shield. 1. The hallmark includs the cypher 84, framed by a rectangle. This was a Russian quality mark from the 18th - 19th centuries.
Cf. Postnikova-Losseva, p. 148, no. 12
2. The hallmark includs a Cyrillic initials (T.E.R.), in an oval frame. Unidentified, probably an artists hallmark.
